Elodie Brisset

I am Dr. in Physical Geography, specialist in studying sedimentary archives, especially from lakes and peatlands, to explore the interactions between Humans, Climate, and Environments over the Lateglacial and Holocene.

I develop a multi-indicators approach including sedimentological, geochemical, and biological proxies to track the diversity of the geosystem compartments, to characterize the long-term changes of hydrosystems (lake, river), ecosystems (soil, vegetation) and human practices (agriculture, farming, mining, engineering).

Focus: Rural areas, Mountains, South-West & Central Asia, Mediterranean.
