Equality Unit
Since its creation in 2019, the Equality Unit (formerly known as the Parity Unit) has been organising actions to reduce the imbalance between men and women in 3 stages: Measure, Understand, Act. Each year, it draws up a comparative situation document for the laboratory, based on gender equality indicators (recruitment, career progression, representation on management bodies, project management, etc.). The unit also organises training courses to reduce these gaps, for example on implicit gender bias or on obstacles to women's careers. Mentoring for young female researchers has also been in place since 2021.
The unit's referrers are trained in the problems of sexist and sexual violence and are available to listen to you.
