Elemental chemistry (LA-ICP-MS)

The Elemental Chemistry platform, LA-ICP-MS is attached to the Sustainable Environment of the CEREGE.

It has been awarded the Aix-Marseille Technology Platform.

It produces theelemental chemical analysis in solution of 90% elements of the periodic table by ICP-OES or ICP-MS.

It also allows direct analysis of solids by coupling laser ablation with the ICP-MS apparatus. This allows for semi-quantitative elemental mapping.

This platform is open to all: both the private and the public sector.
