I am interested in the interactions between climate, hydrosphere and cryosphere in the past and present. I study the past variations of glaciers to reconstruct palaeoclimates and the present response of permafrost to climate change and its impact on hydrology, landscape evolution and environmental parameters. My main tools are numerical modelling and geochronology.
