Archaeometry is an essentially multidisciplinary scientific discipline. During the 24th Archéométrie - colloquium of the GMPCA (Groupe des Méthodes Pluridisciplinaires Contribuant à l'Archéologie), organised by CEPAM in Nice in April 2023, it became apparent that several research teams in the Sud-PACA region were working in this discipline within different units (CEPAM, IMBE, CEREGE, etc.). So we thought it would be a good idea to organise a regional workshop to get to know each team's work better and to bring together the region's driving forces in this area of research.
