workshop on the study of organic archaeological materials in the PACA region 

The **workshop "Étude des Matières Organiques Archéologiques en région PACA "** (Institut-ARKAIA) will be held on **Tuesday 28 May** from 2 to 6 pm in Aix en Provence at the (https://maps.app.goo.gl/oqyEcJ3vR9eWE8WW9) in the Germaine Tillon amphitheatre.

Archaeometry is an essentially multidisciplinary scientific discipline. During the 24th Archéométrie - colloquium of the GMPCA (Groupe des Méthodes Pluridisciplinaires Contribuant à l'Archéologie), organised by CEPAM in Nice in April 2023, it became apparent that several research teams in the Sud-PACA region were working in this discipline within different units (CEPAM, IMBE, CEREGE, etc.). So we thought it would be a good idea to organise a regional workshop to get to know each team's work better and to bring together the region's driving forces in this area of research.
